Following the immense success of the animated series “Murder Drones” on YouTube, the production company, Glitch Productions, has struck a strategic deal to stream the show on Amazon Prime Video. Remarkably, the Arabic language has been positioned as the primary language in the dubbing credits, highlighting a significant milestone for Arabic content on global platforms.
Excellence in Language and Performance In a departure from the recent trend of using local dialects, the Arabic dubbing of Murder Drones opted for Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). This choice ensured a high level of artistic cohesion, bringing together a massive cast of over 25 voice actors from across the Arab world, including Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Syria, and more.
A Revolution by EQ Arabia and CartoonFlix This project represents a groundbreaking achievement for EQ Arabia Studio. Unlike traditional studios that often rely on a limited pool of local voices, EQ Arabia introduced a fresh, diverse lineup. The dubbing was fully executed at EQ Arabia studios in collaboration with the CartoonFlix team.
The industry platform “CO-Production Salon“ commented on the release, describing it as a “bold and distinctive step” in the Arabic market that sets this version apart from other international adaptations:.
